Our Mission is Simple
The Tipping Point Project strengthens Scotland Neck and surrounding communities by
creating opportunities for young people and families to thrive. Through youth
recreation, mentorship, civic engagement, direct community support, and
partnerships with local organizations, we help provide the resources, relationships,
and experiences that can become a turning point in someone’s life.
CONGRATULATIONS to the NEW BEGINNINGS FUNERAL HOME RAVENS! OUR 2026 TIPPING POINT FLAG FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS!
THEIR CHAMPIONSHIP REFLCTS A SEASON OF TEAMWORK, DISCIPLINE, SPORTSMANSHIP, AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT. WE ARE PROUD OF EVERY PLAYER, COACH, PARENT, VOLUNTEER, AND SPONSOR WHO MADE OUR SEASON POSSIBLE.

Civic and Community Engagement
We encourage residents to take an active role in their community through voter-registration
outreach, voting education, volunteer opportunities, community events, and partnerships
that bring neighbors together.

Community Care
We work privately and respectfully to help fill practical gaps for local youth and families.
This may include clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, meals, care packages, and
other essential support identified through trusted community partners.

Mentorship and Youth Development
Through coaches, volunteers, community leaders, and positive role models, we help young
people develop leadership skills, build confidence, and understand that their potential
extends far beyond the playing field.

Community Resource Clinics
In partnership with attorneys and community organizations, we connect residents with
educational resources and periodic clinics concerning driver’s-license restoration,
criminal-record expunction, and other barriers to opportunity.
Be careful to describe these as educational or partner-supported programs—not
guaranteed legal representation.

Youth Recreation
We provide safe, structured recreational opportunities that promote teamwork, discipline,
confidence, sportsmanship, and healthy activity. Our programs include co-ed flag football
and planned expansion into elementary basketball and other community recreation.
HOW WE SERVE

We would like to recognize parents and community leaders that go above and beyond for our children.
